Mobility
Car park
Out of respect for the local residents, no parking is allowed in the immediate vicinity of the festival. Please note that offenders may be fined. The car park of Kortrijk XPO / Kinepolis acts as the official Alcatraz car park. Single-day parking costs €7, and for €15 you can leave your car there for the entire weekend. The following GPS coordinates will take you to the car park:

Shuttle buses
Free shuttle buses are available to take festival-goers from the XPO car park to the main festival entrance.
- Thursday: 8 a.m. - 3 a.m.
- Friday: 8 a.m. - 3 a.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. - 3 a.m.
- Sunday: 8 a.m. - 3 a.m.
- Monday: 8 a.m. - 12.30 p.m.
Cycling
At the festival grounds cyclists can park their bike in our (unsupervised) bicycle parking lot.
Motorcycles
Motorcycles can park free of charge in the KULAK car park. Just follow the signs.
Buses
As public transport company De Lijn hasn’t published its summer schedule yet, we recommend that visitors plan their bus trip using the following link: https://www.delijn.be/en/routeplanner/

- Destination: Kortrijk Xpo
Bus lines 1, 2 and 10 operate between Kortrijk Station and Kortrijk Xpo. On average, there are 5 buses per hour and a minimum of 2 buses. Under normal circumstances you never have to wait more than half an hour. At the train station board a bus at terminal 3, platform 32/33 to Kortrijk Xpo. At Kortrijk Xpo get off at bus stop Doorniksesteenweg.
Taxi Service
There is a designated taxi rank for official Kortrijk taxis located just beyond the shuttle drop-off and pick-up point on Ambassadeur Baertlaan. Festival-goers who wish to leave Alcatraz by taxi will pay one of the following fixed fares:
- Taxi ride to the back entrance of the station: €20 per ride (*)
- Taxi ride to the city centre (within the R36): €25 per ride () () If the taxi can take more than 4 passengers: €5 per person, with a minimum of €20 (station) or €25 (city centre).
- All other destinations are charged at the rates displayed in the taxi.
All other (non-rank) taxis can be found outside the security perimeter.
Park & Ride
There is no PARK & RIDE zone at the main festival entrance. The PARK & RIDE zone is located at Kortrijk Xpo where free shuttle buses will be waiting to take you to the main festival entrance. Enter the following GPS coordinates to reach the PARK & RIDE zone:

If you insist on walking, there is a limited KISS & RIDE zone approx. 1 km from the festival. This zone is located on Schaapsdreef, near the junction with Ambassadeur Baertlaan.
