Thy Art Is Murder returns to Alcatraz in 2026 for a good reason.
The Australian deathcore outfit is known for relentless pounding music combined with staccato riffs reminiscent of giants like Behemoth, Meshuggah and Cannibal Corpse. Frontman CJ McMahon left in 2015 for financial reasons but returned less than two years later with the release of 'Dear Desolation'. Since then, the band strengthened their status further, releasing 'Godlike' in 2023, their first album with new vocalist Tyler Miller. Anyone catching them live knows standing still isn’t an option...when Thy Art Is Murder hits the stage, it’s either get in the pit or get out of the way!
