The legendary progressive metal band Savatage takes the Alcatraz stage for the first time in 2026.
After a long hiatus, they returned to European venues in 2025 with the 'Madness Reigns Europe 2025' tour. The lineup features Zak Stevens on vocals, Chris Caffery and Al Pitrelli on guitars, Johnny Lee Middleton on bass, and Jeff Plate on drums. Though Jon Oliva is absent due to health reasons, he has given his blessing to the tour. Studio sessions for their new album 'Curtain Call' are planned to start in January 2026, which will be their first new album in 25 years. Fans are eager to see what magic they’ll pull from their hats!
