RONKER was formed in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic. When the individual musical projects of members Jasper De Petter, Bram Delcourt, Jens Van Den Borre and Matteo Beyney came to a temporary halt, they decided to join forces.
From that moment on, they began their search for a distinctive sound - one that soon made waves across Belgian and Dutch clubs. Their music, which they describe as “speed noise,” balances between the raw energy of early hardcore punk and the dark intensity of 1990s alternative and metal. In 2024, they released their debut album 'Fear Is A Funny Thing, Now Smile Like A Big Boy'. The record captures RONKER at their loudest, most intense, and most inventive. Fans will be thrilled to hear that a new album drops on January 30, 2026. RONKER is a band you need to witness live: no gimmicks, just sweat, volume, and sheer impact.
