Bay Area thrash is alive and breathing fire again with Nefarious, the supergroup featuring Rick Hunolt (ex-Exodus), Doug Piercy (ex-Heathen), Will Carroll (Death Angel) and vocalist Sean Rivera (Coffin Hunters).
Their debut 'Addicted to Power' (2025) catapults you straight back to the glory days of the eighties, but with a modern punch. Hunolt and Piercy, pioneers of the Bay Area scene, still craft riffs sharp enough to cut steel. The band radiates pure thrash: tight grooves and an irresistibly American sound. Not a copy of their past, but a new chapter carved from the same hardened DNA. With Carroll behind the kit, the pace stays lethal and the drive unmistakable.
