Mortal Scepter is a thrash band that emerged in 2012 in Dunkirk, Northern France. The band was founded by a group of ambitious friends bonded by an unstoppable love for old-school thrash with a dark edge.
Their debut album, 'Where Light Suffocates' (2018), set the tone with loud, heavy riffs and a hefty dose of death metal. In 2025, they struck back with 'Ethereal Dominance', a dark, technical masterpiece that sharpened their sound with more variety and complexity. While staying true to their old-school roots, they're not afraid to experiment, mixing wild rhythms with lightning-fast guitars. The quartet continues to impress with live shows full of energy and passion, steadily building a solid reputation on the European metal scene.
