A sombre and evil atmosphere, a fiendish drive and incendiary vocals: that is the recipe Mordkaul uses to craft their lethal tracks.
The members of this Belgian band share a passion for pure, unadulterated melodic death metal. At the start of 2021 they initiated hostilities with their first outing ‘Dress Code: Blood’, landing them a well-deserved slot at Alcatraz later that year. The performance itself was a merciless uppercut and the same is true of last year’s EP ‘Feeding the Machine – Part 1’: an ode to the (Swedish) roots of the genre but also very… Mordkaul. Part 2 of that infernal machine is set for a 2024 release.
