Crimson Glory are widely regarded as pioneers of American progressive metal, mentioned in the same breath as icons like Queensrÿche and Fates Warning.

The band set themselves apart not only with Midnight's soaring, expressive vocals but also through intricate guitar harmonies and sophisticated song structures. Their milestone albums 'Crimson Glory' (1986) and 'Transcendence' (1988) remain influential genre classics that inspired countless bands in their wake. Crimson Glory also became known for their striking visual style - most notably, the silver masks worn by band members, adding a sense of mystique and theatrical flair to their image. After a long spell of reunions and inactivity, the band rediscovered their spark in 2024 with a refreshed lineup and a return to live shows. Now, anticipation is riding high as they prepare to unveil their first studio album in over 25 years - a release fans have been longing for.
