Scotland proves to offer more than folk and thirsty pirate metal, demonstrated by the success of Bleed From Within.
The band debuted in 2005 in Glasgow playing covers of Lamb Of God and evolved steadily into a metalcore act with a unique identity. Their pure deathcore sound has given way to a broader yet still aggressive style. Frontman Scott Kennedy swapped screams for mature grunts over time, while rhythm guitarist Steven Snev Jones has taken lead vocals since 2017. In 2021, they signed with Nuclear Blast, which released their seventh album 'Zenith' in April 2025. The band combines metalcore and thrash with new touches like choir vocals and bagpipes, maintaining a powerful and aggressive sound.
