Great fun and a guaranteed party, that’s Alestorm in a nutshell.

The band started out playing shows for a handful of farm animals on a field somewhere in East Scotland. It didn’t take long for the farmer and neighbors to join the party, and before long, the crazy crew stormed the charts worldwide with their infectious pirate metal. Beer and rum flow freely while founder singer-keytarist Christopher Bowes and his crew sail the high seas. Their debut 'Captain Morgan’s Revenge' in 2008 launched hits like 'Drink'. Trumpets, trombones, accordion, violins... nothing is left to chance in this lively mix of Scottish folk and power metal. Their eighth album, 'The Thunderfist Chronicles', released in June 2025, keeps the humor and witty pirate metal alive which is loved by fans. Kortrijk harbor, beware!
