In the course of a decade, 1000mods has climbed the ladder from smoke-ridden backrooms and dank basements to sold-out venues.
The Greek band are as happy on the heavy/stoner rock scene as a fish in the Aegean. The band was conceived in 2006 and tested the waters with two EPs before dropping their first full-length ‘Super Van Vacation’ (2010). Their subsequent records helped them build a solid European fan base who love their mix of Black Sabbath, Kyuss, Red Fang and MC5. Desertfest is one of the festivals they’ve played in recent years. On their breakthrough record ‘Youth of Dissent’ from 2020 they journey back in time to the nineties, resulting in their best output to date.
