The Casualties

In 1990 five New Yorkers decided it was high time to revisit the golden age of street punk. The Casualties were nostalgic for the raw, no-nonsense sound of such punk icons as The Exploited and GBH.
Their goal? Give a deafening voice to the disenfranchised, the disillusioned and the have-nots of this planet. The gang of streetfighters is still incensed, still politically motivated and they keep the heart and mind of true punk alive. Following the retirement of singer Jorge Herrera in 2017 there are no founding members left but guitarist Jake Kolatis and drummer Marc ‘Meggers’ Eggers were already part of the gang on their full-length debut ‘For the Punx’ (1997).
